Thanks as always Jay--for the playlist notes as much as the commentary. I find it hard to imagine it will make any difference whatsoever, but maybe that's just my native cynicism creeping in....
It was really tempting to just write on the playlist... I'm sure you share my astonishment at that... I think these are the kinds of issues that do make a difference. Think like a centrist. You're not 100% in the Fox media orbit. You're concerned about immigration and the economy and feel like Trump will handle those things. If Trump really seems off in la-la-land, not according to a bunch of liberals but for real, that could impact your vote if you're on the fence.
You are correct, I do! But...what's a centrist? Yes, I have my distorted deep-sea goggles on, but policy (or lack thereof) aside, what can we see that we haven't already? I don't call myself a Democrat, but it's just so far out of my ken that 48% of us or whatever hear Trump speak and think: "THAT'S who I want in charge!"
